                        Can’t attend Alpha Gamma’s Second Degree so see Kylie if you want to go

            Corresponding Secretary:

                        Betsy from Alpha Gamma wrote a message to us wondering if we could let them                                      bunk with us because they cannot afford a hotel room.  The chapter had a                                      positive response to that.

                        Submitted January Chapter Challenge to the Kadenza – good ideas from other                                          chapters too.  Working on February’s

                        Relay is coming up

            Treasurer:

                        Working on depositing what we made at Chili Amore

            Vice President:

                        Thanks for coming candidates

                        Those staying for the bracelet making – be ready to be interviewed by candidates

                        Might have some continuing ed stuff at the next meeting and will discuss it later

            Historian:

                        Found another alumni yesterday – Beta class Spring 2004

                        The adjustment of the family tree to make things more clear as to whole you                                              belong to – mostly for pictures at degrees.  Will contact the heads of the                                         families and ask them to name them.  If you have questions about this                                              process see David

            Parliamentarian:

                        Conditional status of membership – if you need to become a conditional member                                       there are requirements.  Letter from director of bands, chapter has to vote                                       on it, and have to alert district officer

            Kappa Kappa Psi Liason:

                        Fundraiser March 8^th at Applebee’s

            President:

                        Bethany is still recovering, so she’ll go through in the fall

                        Most brought the checks for convention – please sign up on the list

                        We need more drivers – need a copy of your license and insurance

                        Block – 27^th of February at Tiffin – sign up on the sheet

                        Mr. Karriker and Tammi – will have a joint meeting to discuss the rest of the                                              semester

                        Printed off letters of intent for people running for district officers

Committee Reports:

            Finance:

                        Made $270 at Chili Amore – have a theme for next year – had to stop at 6:15                                             because we ran out of chili – Stricker won with his chili – second place                                           (Dom) got pie

                        Haven’t had another meeting yet – need to meet soon and will discuss when to                                          meet

                        Relay fundraisers – have different ideas – will be on the discussion board for the                                      team – David brought up another idea

                        Convention fundraisers – the bracelets we’re making today.  The revolving crest                                        and letter head and we discussed selling it on CDs but unsure about copy                                       rights – will have different people selling things at our table

                        Tina made us all lose the game

            Rules:

                        We met before Chili Amore – discussed things – making a required amount of service events for actives – combine absence and proxy forms – amending Kappa Kappa Psi Liason’s duties

                        Each committee chair needs to come up with the purposes for their committee

            Mem Ed.:

                        Polos – if you’re a new active from last semester you need to go to Emily and Jeff                                     and give them their shirt size.  Bigs this semester should try to buy their                                          little’s polo if financially able

                        Second Degree will be Tuesday February 23^rd

                        Third Degree will tentatively be on April 17^th at 5:30pm

            Service:

                        Had a lot of good ideas for service projects

                        Mr. Karriker turned most of the down

                        Had a huge group and April 12^th is Spirit Night

                        Recruitment dates are coming up

                        April 10^th is the Steel Band Concert

                        Make a new podium

                        Facility office cleaning – mostly just mopping the floors

                        March 24^th, March 31^st – Panara Bread in the Atrium for the women in music                                             things

                        At the joint meeting Karriker’s going to be discussing a car wash with Kappa

            Sisterhood:

                        Potluck – Mrs. Jacaboice cannot do the potluck on March 27^th

                                    Need to pick a new date or wait for Kellie to get back to us

                                    Maybe doing it on the 10^th or before Zach’s recital on the 11^th

                        At National Convention they approved National Sisterhood week – March 22^nd                                        through March 26^th – the committee has a list of things to do

                                                Movie Monday – we’ll watch The Producers

                                                Tasty Tuesday – bring your favorite snack to the gen meeting

                                                Wava Wednesday – wear letters

                                                Thirsty Thursday – make mocktails

                                                Fancy Friday – will teach us how to ballroom dance

                        Kylie is teaching us how to make bracelets

                        Will write a Kadenza article on the mocktail sisterhood for the February Chapter

                        Might do a dance between us, Kappa Kappa Psi, and Phi Tau Chi for the school of                                    music – will discuss with the other groups – will have a subcommittee                                             thing for the dance

                        March 3^rd, 7 pm is the next meeting
